For those who would like to visit this magnificent capital of Renaissance without having to find a parking space for your car, we would recommend to use the train. A direct line from Figline Valdarno station allows you in around 20 minutes to reach Santa Maria Novella station located in the heart of Florence.

SIENA

One of the most beautiful medieval towns of central Italy, in the middle of the exquisite Chianti region. Hub of the city is Piazza del Campo, with its unique shell shape. The square hosts the famous horse race 'Palio'. If you don't mind the crowds, you can take part in this folkloristic experience every year in the months of July and August.

This delightful town of ancient origin, once an important Etruscan and then Roman centre, preserves all the charm of its distinguished past. Its main monuments are enriched by Medieval and Renaissance works by famous artists, including Cimabue and Piero della Francesca. If you visit the first Sunday of the month, you'll find the Antique Market, which is very popular among antique collectors.

VALLOMBROSA

Only a few kilometres from the property you'll find the beautiful Abbey of Vallombrosa, surrounded by a forest declared Natural Reserve, a starting point for various trekking routes in Pratomagno.
